Depending on the condition of your bicycles components, we offer various services to suit you and your bicycles needs.

Basic Service – £20

The Basic Service comprises of a safety check, ensuring that the bicycle is in a safe and roadworthy condition. The operation of the brakes and gears are checked and finely tuned for optimum performance. Tyre pressures are checked and inflated to the correct pressure.

Service – £28

In addition to the Basic Service, we will adjust the hub, headset and bottom bracket bearings as necessary. We tighten all nuts and bolts to the correct torque, and the drivetrain and all cables are lubricated. The wheels are checked and if any small buckles are found we will true the wheels.

Full Service – From £90

The full service offers you a thorough overhaul, with the aim of restoring your bike to how it worked when it was brand new. In addition to the two services above, we will completely strip the frame of its component parts. The frame will then be cleaned and checked for alignment. All the component parts will be degreased, cleaned and lubricated. Hub, bottom bracket and headset bearings are cleaned and then greased. We will also check the tension of your wheels, and true any buckles.

Wheel Building

Building wheels is a serious art and should only be attempted by accomplished mechanics. Fortunately we have lots on hand and can order in some really shiny parts so you can have your own custom wheels built by hand.
